The game started in December 1996, and finished in September 1997. All the starting players stayed with the game untill the finish.
The game ended by Germany and Britain causing the ETI to reach 100 during the 1904 Movement/status Change Phase. But since Germany did so because of a forced action (Random event 2-4) only Britain suffered the triple Great war penalty. The chinese were extraordinarily rebellious in this game, and there were Boxer Rebellions in both 1892 and 1900.
