The game ended when the ETI hit 100+ after the first turn of a Chinese rebellion in 1900. In 1884 Britain/US went to war against Spain after a Yellow Press Journalism random event. In 1892 there was a multiple sided war: Britain vs Netherland; Japan/France/Germany vs Netherland; and Japan/France/Germany vs Britain/USA. There were three consecutive Chinese Rebellions in 1892, 1896 and 1900; only in 1892 did the Great Powers agree to spoils.
This game was played with an alternate rule whereby Japan had a divisor of 2.5.
Aaron Vreeland was replaced as France by Albert Boada during the 1892 war.
