Thor Annual 14, pages 61, 64.

Artist: Mark Bagley
Inker: Keith Williams

If you read my reviews for MTIO 64-66, you'll find I rate them as the best continued story in MTIO. Unfortunately, they were blessed with George Perez' art, and this means I'll never ever see a page from them up for sale (and if I do, the price'll be so mind-boggling my head will spin!). So here's my cheaper substitute...

This is the back-up story in Thor Annual 14, one of a series of back-up stories (written by Peter Sanderson) which ran throughout all that year's annuals detailing the history of the Serpent Crown. Page 64 (the bottom one here) is a piece of Bagley/Williams art which summarizes the tail end of MTIO 66, and includes a very nice Scarlet Witch and Stingray (plus the Watcher and Hugh Jones, president of Roxxon), and some good Thing - Serpent Crown interaction. Page 61 turned up some time later, and has a nice presentation of Set at bottom left. Now if I only I can find pages 58-60 and 63 (62 was an ad), well, then I'll have something cool! They might not be Perez (who is?) but I'm very happy to have found these.

Page 64 was purchased through Anthony's Collectibles in May of 2004; I found page 61 on EBay in July of 2005.
