If you read my page for MTIO 34, you'll find my identifying myself as a big fan of this issue, save for the final panel's being overwrought that I can't help but laugh at it. So, when that final panel (With the rest of the final page, of course!) came around, how could I resist? Only a few small Ben drawings in here, but I do love the "monster" and they do some nice work with Nighthawk and with the townsfolk, plus that "splash" effect just jumps off the page in black and white. Very happy to have this, am I.

     This came off eBay in December of 2009, arriving at my home the day before my 45th birthday. With comic art prices having gone through the roof while comic art selection went through the basement, my "original art" hobby had pretty well died (my last published art purchase was 28 months previous to this, I believe), but this one proved miraculously affordable.
