I'm more than slightly a Quasar fan (he was one of the bigger supporting characters over the MTIO run, and had a very enjoyable book of his own thereafter), but thanks to an avid and apparently well off Quasar fan out there, its a litte hard to get good original art with Quasar. This page has not only Quasar, but most of the FF as well, modeling the distinctive look that Mark Wieringo gave Ben. This is a wonderful page and I'm excited to have it; with apologies to the issue's colorist this is much more beautiful in black and white than it was colored in the book. Wieringo's death was a great loss to comics art.
     I attended one day (May 10th) of the 2008 Seattle Emerald City Comic Con and had the fortune to chat with this page's inker, Karl Kesel, who was gracious enough to sell it to me.
