There are really only a few Serpent Society storylines: this is the Trial of Diamondback, wherein Diamondback is put on trial for "betraying" the Society. I think most people might look down on this for the sheer number of panels and lack of action, but I always liked that Gru's stories (though they held action) were fairly intellectual. This page has virtually the entire Society membership of the time (Puff Adder is a little off page), and some nice close-ups of the roster; I really like it for reasons that I can't fully put to word (though that cutish snake of Black Mamba's sticking its head up in panel 5 really catches my eye too). Oh, and yes, please once again notice the word count in a Gruenwald book - there may be more words on this page than the current Avengers writer uses in one entire issue.
